The Noble Experiment: The Right of the Government to Regulate Morality
Thesis:
On January 16, 1919, the United States government passed Prohibition in an effort to regulate morality by making selling, transporting, and producing alcohol against the law. This law resulted in an uprise in organized crime and rebellion. Also called the "Noble Experiment," Prohibition gave the United States government the right to enforce the morals of it's citizens.
